Unlocker Tool is an Adobe Illustrator plugin that lets you lock and unlock objects with a simple click directly on the artboard.
To activate the Unlocker tool:
- Select it from the toolbar (grouped with the Selection tool), or
- Assign a custom shortcut in Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts.
Features:
- Click on an object to lock or unlock it.
- Lock/unlock multiple objects at once by holding [LMB] and dragging (press [Alt] to toggle between lock/unlock modes).
- Locked items are highlighted when the Unlocker tool is active.
- To lock a specific item within a group (instead of the entire group), hold [Alt] while hovering over the object.
- Customize highlight color or disable highlighting in Window > n8ive.Unlocker Settings.
